Hi, I'm Ruthie

Life Coach | Thoughtful Guide | Someone Who Understands Life’s Complicated Seasons

Because I’ve lived through a few myself.

For many years, my sense of worth was tied to how much I could handle. If I wasn’t busy, I felt uneasy. If I slowed down, I wondered if I was falling behind. From the outside, my life looked perfectly fine. But inside, I was often tired, anxious, and quietly questioning whether I was doing life “right.”

Over time, I began to realize something important.

Sometimes we don’t need to push harder or achieve more.

Sometimes we simply need the space to pause, reflect, and understand our lives more clearly.

Maybe parts of this sound familiar.

  • You’ve built a life that looks good from the outside, but something inside still feels unsettled.

  • You may feel pulled in different directions.

  • You may feel responsible for everyone else’s needs.

  • You may wonder if you’ve been living according to expectations that don’t fully belong to you.

Or maybe there’s simply a quiet voice inside that keeps asking:

“Is this really the life I want to keep living?”

If you’ve found yourself here, you may have asked questions like:

  • What happened to the person I used to be?

  • Why do I feel guilty when I slow down or take time for myself?

  • Why does it feel like there’s never quite enough time or energy?

  • Why do certain patterns in my life keep repeating?

  • Why is it so difficult to ask for help?

  • Why do I feel disconnected, even when everything seems fine on the outside?

  • What do I actually want from this next chapter of my life?

  • And who am I trying to please?

Many thoughtful people carry these same questions.

There is nothing wrong with you.

Sometimes we simply reach a point where we want to understand our lives more clearly—and decide what truly matters going forward.

That’s where coaching can help.

My coaching is not about giving you another list of things to accomplish or telling you how to fix yourself.

Instead, it’s about creating a thoughtful, supportive space where you can talk honestly about your life, gain perspective, and reconnect with what feels true to you.

Together, we can:

• Explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life
• Identify what may be keeping you feeling stuck or uncertain
• Clarify what truly matters to you now
• Create a path forward that feels authentic and grounded

Because a meaningful life isn’t only about what you accomplish.

It’s about how your life actually feels while you’re living it.

And sometimes the most powerful changes begin simply by talking things through with someone who listens with care and perspective.

A Glimpse Into My Story

For many years, my life looked perfectly fine from the outside — a successful career, a beautiful home, a loving husband, and a full, active life.

But beneath the surface, I was often quietly struggling. I found myself overthinking decisions, second-guessing myself, and carrying a constant sense of pressure to keep everything together. I had checked all the boxes that were supposed to lead to happiness, yet something inside still felt unsettled.

Part of that came from my past. I had a difficult childhood, and like many people who grow up in challenging circumstances, I learned early how to be strong, responsible, and capable. I became the one who handled things, helped others, and kept moving forward — often without stopping to ask what I truly needed.

Over time, I realized something important: constantly performing for the world can quietly pull us away from ourselves.

The real shift began when I allowed myself to slow down, ask deeper questions, and start listening to my own inner voice. That process didn’t happen overnight, but it gradually brought a sense of clarity, peace, and freedom I hadn’t felt before.

Today, I trust myself in a way I never used to. My life feels calmer, more intentional, and more aligned with what truly matters to me.

And that is the perspective I bring to my coaching.

Because you don’t have to constantly prove your worth or live according to expectations that no longer fit.

Sometimes the most important step forward is simply learning to trust yourself again — and remembering that who you are is already enough.
