I'm a Galaxy Dancer

This may be too "woo woo" for some of you so just know, I respect your beliefs also.

In May I started doing yoga. I quickly became addicted and found that it touched my soul. Yoga is not just stretching. It is something that, if you experience all of yoga, it touches you. It touches you in your heart, your mind and your soul.

Tonight I went to my first AcuDetox class. I have never done an acupuncture class and have definitely not done a Yoga/AcuDetox class so I had no idea what to expect.

We started with our yoga teacher and the acupuncturist introducing themselves. The acupuncturist then went around to put the needles in everyone's ears. As she went to each person, she would insert the needles and then each person would lay down in . The yoga instructor continued to lead the remainder of the class through poses until we were all ready for a full meditation with needles in our ears.

During the meditation, Robbie (our yoga instructor) guided us through an intention and asked us to come up with an intention that would guide our meditation. She suggested we start with "I am...." and we were to fill in the blanks. As I lay there trying to thing of my words, I came up with a few words that kept twirling around.. Dancing. Universe. Happy. And multiple others. They kept flying around my head as Robbie lead our meditation. The words continued to evolve and change into what became very clear to me............. I'm a Galaxy Dancer.

I was deep in mediation and these words came to life. I danced around the galaxy and felt happiness, lightheartedness, joy and pure love. During my meditation I realized that that I am happy. I am loved. I am giddy with life and love to dance. I am open to everything the Universe has to offer. Unity Yoga and Moonbeam Yoga have opened my eyes and opened my heart.

I have opened my mind my heart and my soul to yoga. I have so much to learn but for now, I appreciate every moment, every class and every moment of instruction I gain.
