Life Changes

The last few months have been quite interesting.

It seems my eyes have opened and I am learning new things about myself and life every day.

Quite enjoyable!

A lot of my favorite quotes are from Ralph Waldo Emerson so I found some appropriate quotes from him to summarize these past months:

“Give all to love; obey thy heart.”

Without love, what is life?

Love of self, love of friends, love of life, and especially love in a relationship.

None of these can happen without trust.

Trust in the universe. Trust in others.

I am so blessed to have so much love in my life from each of these areas.

Ruthi D. can attest to this! Hanging with her is always an experience.

Of course there are many others, but she gets to see the “stupid” more often! Unfortunately, Jim S. gets to witness a lot of it. I think there are a lot of eye rolls involved but he loves us. Right, Jim?

I’ve made some large decisions in my life that require some work, but they are happening!

– Changing back to my maiden name, Lanigan!

– Preparing to sell my house.

– Liking – no…. Loving myself!

I’ve always been a spiritual person but I’m going to figure out exactly what that means to me.

Enough said.

Some of the new things I have experienced:

– Riding on the back of a motorcycle to Spencer’s grill in Kirkwood for breakfast and eating way too much!

– Walking hand in hand with Jim M. and his daughter through the zoo having a great time.

– Hearing Jim S. get interviewed on NPR.

– Making candles with Ruthi D.

– Going to the Balloon Glow in Forest Park

– Still meeting tons of new friends. Something I plan to continue throughout my entire life!

– Seeing my granddaughter walk!

I can’t wait to see what tomorrow and the rest of my life brings!
