My Letter of Appreciation:

In March I thought “This will not last long”.

In April I thought, “Wow, this is still going on!”.

In May I thought, “Ummmm, things are continuing to get worse”.

In June I thought, ” We have got to be close to getting through this”.

In July I thought, “Why are people not taking this seriously?” .

It has been almost six months from the time anyone (not everyone by any means) started to take this seriously. I am far from understanding why people are not taking this seriously after 6 months. But hey, all I can do is wear my mask and try to stress the importance of socially distancing to those that will listen.

Today’s post is not about any of that. Today I want to show appreciation to those that are suffering or that have suffered. So here we go…….

Anyone in the medical profession: I see you. Some of you are on the front lines, exposing yourself to a “flu” that we don’t have a vaccine or a cure for. You put yourselves in danger each and every day. You are exhausted. Your family time is minimal. You worry each and every day. You care for your patients until the very end. You may be the last person they have contact with and you try to make it meaningful. Thank you and much love to you. Stay safe!

Some of you have chosen a medical field that isn’t considered crucial and you have been furloughed. Persist my friend. Work will come back to you. Know that everyone still needs you. You matter and we miss you!

Anyone in the music industry: We miss you so much! Music is healing and right now, we all need healing. I ask that everyone support your favorite ( or even your somewhat favorite) musicians in any way you can. I hope you all realize the impact these musicians have on your life. THEY ARE ESSENTIAL! These musicians use their talent to heal. They perform for us when we are happy, sad or melancholy. They can lift our spirits, energize us or mellow us out. Who doesn’t have their favorite song to listen to when they need lifted up! Or a favorite song when they just want to be sad. Musicians see our souls. Be kind to them.

Anyone in the Self Help/Entrepreneurial business: Well I know this from personal experience! I have my favorite blogs I listen to daily that help me keep my sanity. Lewis Howes, Brendon Bruchard, Rachel Hollis, Oprah, Jen Hatmaker, Jenna Kutcher, Rachel Hollis, Gabby Bernstein…. the list goes on. They keep me grounded. I hope they realize the value and sanity they bring to my life.

ANY PARENT: I have no idea how you are doing this. You are amazing. You have become educators as well as parents and you have likely given up any free time you have for yourself. Single parents especially. I hope you are all finding time to get away and have a little time for yourselves. It is so important. You have lost your ability to relax with any private time you may have had in the past. I hope you can look back from the future and be grateful for the time you had with your children.

Property Management Professionals: You rock! You are making sure your clients and their properties are safe. And clean. You expose yourself every day to the tenants and I know you (we) are all counting our blessings each day that no one reports a “positive” case in a building. Keep up the good work! You are appreciated!

Those who have lost a job: Man, I don’t even know what to say. Try to stay positive. Accept your journey and take the time to reflect and identify the positive in this horrible situation. (Maybe it was time for you to take the time to focus on YOU, or a loved one, or a passion you have been ignoring). Love to each and every one of you and my best wishes that you find a new story in life.

My final words to everyone……..

Give up the pettiness of your own self pleasure. Be safe. Wear a mask! Think of others. Appreciate the quiet. Embrace the closeness of family. Reflect Soar

We will all come out of this as better people. The Energy of the Universe will set you free! Love Will Alway Win! Choose Love! Believe the Spirit of the Universe!

Love to all!
