Portugal to Spain 2022. Stop 1 -Lisbon

It's been close to a year since we were in Portugal so I thought it was time to write about Portugal.

We flew in to Lisbon and immediately liked the country. We got our car and put the directions in for our hotel, the Lisbon Wine Hotel. We spent two days roaming around the city, walking all over the city, taking trains, drinking wine, eating delicious seafood!

The streets were filled with little shops everywhere. The street our hotel was on shut down at 11:00 am and it is all foot traffic after that. The street vendors had every kind of shop from sewing vendors to tourist souvenirs. They were all so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. Our hotel room looked out over the street. Such a wonderful view!

We rode the trolley, visited museums, the Tower of Belem, cathedrals and basically saw amazing sites around every corner.

We spent two days just walking around and enjoying the sounds, the smells, the people, the music. We were in love.
