Weekend in Mt. Juliet

Often, when people from out of state ask me where I live, I say Nashville. Because most people have never heard of Mt. Juliet.

Mt. Juliet is a charming Eastern suburb of Nashville and I am so glad we chose to live here. This weekend I did not leave Mt. Juliet at all but it was an amazing weekend.

I left downtown Nashville on Friday heading home to a 3 day weekend. The view was wonderful. The real estate in Nashville is something to admire. I left one of the properties we manage looking at a view of another property in downtown that we manage. Real Estate is amazing and in Nashville, it is truly amazing! There are beautiful high rise buildings going up all over the place and it is so exciting to watch the progress.

Friday night we spent in the yard and hanging out with our neighbors. So much fun. One of the reasons we love Mt. Juliet is our neighbors. We believe a little bit of fate had something to do with where we ended up. Saturday was spent working in the yard again, planting mums, petting the cats. Later that evening our neighborhood had a luau at the pool so we went to that and spent time with friends and also were able to meet a lot of new people. There were fire dancers that were amazing, fun music and lots of great people!

Sunday we took a 6 mile walk. whew! We worked in the yard again. I did yoga in the evening. My muscles are starting to hurt.

Monday was yoga, yard work and I actually worked some. It's been a great weekend and I absolutely love my life. Spending time with Jim at home is so fun. We have such fun times together whether it be at home or roaming the world. Life is good!
